Parthene is a new concept outdoor heater. Conventional heaters in a situation with a large floating population consume a lot of heat and consequently waste a lot of heat. However, the Parthene is a design that can warm the maximum number of people with the least amount of heat in a commercial space. When a person is present, each of the 12 doors opens, warming the people in that location. Conversely, when no one is present, the door is closed to block the heat, acting as an object. It can provide a particularly positive scenario for small business owners whose main business is outdoor space.

파르테네는 새로운 개념의 야외형 히터입니다. 유동인구가 많은 상황에서의 기존 히터는 열 소모량도 많고 그에 따른 낭비량도 상당히 높습니다. 하지만, 파르테네는 상업 공간에서 최소한의 열로 최대 많은 사람들을 따뜻하게 해줄 수 있는 디자인입니다. 사람이 있을 때, 12개의 문이 각각 열리며 해당 위치에 있는 사람들을 따뜻하게 해줍니다. 반대로, 사람이 없을 때에는 문을 닫아 열을 차단시켜서 오브제의 역할을 수행합니다. 야외 공간을 메인으로 하고 있는 소상공인들에게 특히나 긍정적인 시나리오를 제공할 수 있습니다.

Bring emotion and warmth through table + heater

In the cold season, traditional outdoor cafes have various problems. There is a problem that the lower body does not feel warmth, and the booth installed to solve this problem blocks the natural view of the environment. In addition, a large heater installed as an addition spoils the aesthetics and takes up a lot of space and aisles. The aim of this design is to make both upper and lower body feel warm through the method of combining the table and the heater, and to feel the warm sensibility of winter in a way that does not block the eyes.

추운 계절, 기존의 야외 카페는 다양한 문제점이 있습니다. 하반신은 따뜻함을 느끼지 못하는 문제점이 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위해 설치한 부스는 환경을 바라보는 자연스러운 시선을 차단하고는 합니다. 또한, 부가적으로 설치된 대형 히터는 심미성을 해치고 많은 공간과 통로를 차지하고는 합니다. 테이블과 히터를 결합하는 방식을 통해 상하반신 모두 따뜻함을 느낄 수 있도록 하고, 시선을 가리지 않는 방법으로 겨울철 따뜻한 감성을 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이 본 디자인의 지향점입니다.

Like the night view of the Parthenon

Designed as a metaphor for the night view of the Parthenon illuminated by pillars, Parthene becomes a center of warmth in a cold outdoor space.

기둥에 불빛이 비춰지는 파르테논의 야경을 메타포로 디자인된 Parthene는 추운 야외 공간에서 따뜻함의 중심지가 됩니다.

The warmth that follows the user

It effectively solves the problem of 'power loss' of existing heaters. Each of the four built-in motors controls the doors in three directions, and through the process of opening and closing a total of 12 doors, the heat can be delivered only in the required direction.

기존 히터의 '전력 손실'이라는 문제점을 효과적인 방법으로 해소합니다. 내장된 4개의 모터는 각각 3방향의 도어를 컨트롤하며, 총 12개의 도어를 개폐하는 과정을 통해 필요한 방향에만 온기가 전달될 수 있도록 합니다.

Various usage environments

I provide 3 different usage environments to suit the characteristics of small business owners who operate outdoor spaces. Combined with a table, it can be used as an outdoor party table or as a general heater. Also, the combination of the two makes them perfect for use on waiting lines or large events.

야외 공간을 운영하는 소상공인의 사업장 특징에 맞게 3가지 사용 환경을 제공합니다. 테이블과 결합하여 야외 파티용 테이블로 활용하거나 일반 히터로 활용될 수 있습니다. 또한, 두 제품을 결합하여 웨이팅 라인이나 대규모 행사에 사용되기에 적합합니다.

Warmth in a cold space

Changes in temperature are not the only things that make a cold space warm. When there is pleasant meeting and communication with new people, that moment can be warmed. PARTHENE is a table-type heater that warms the space and the heart.

추운 공간을 따뜻하게 바꿔주는 것은 온도의 변화 뿐만이 아닙니다. 새로운 사람과의 즐거운 만남과 커뮤니케이션이 존재하면 그 순간이 따뜻해지고는 합니다. PARTHENE는 공간과 마음을 따뜻하게 해주는 테이블 형 히터입니다.

Warmth in daytime

In the warm season, it can be used as a general table product or object without using the heater function. It is a product that serves as a center for various events that take place during the day and opens a meeting place. Of course, cold-weather daytime scenarios can also be satisfied through the use of the heater function.

따뜻한 계절에는 히터 기능을 사용하지 않고 일반 테이블 제품이나 오브제로 활용이 가능합니다. 낮 시간대에 일어나는 각종 행사에서도 중심지 역할을 하며 만남의 장을 열게 되는 제품입니다. 당연히, 추운 계절 낮에 일어나는 시나리오들도 히터 기능의 사용을 통해 만족시킬 수 있습니다.

This is Parthene that will warm the attendees on the winter night when the coldest day comes. Warmth is essential for an outdoor party with beautiful night views and lights outdoors.
